Closed Van G.5
First of a one-off two provided by the Ashbury Carriage & WAgon Co., in 1877, this example was later fitted with portholes to aid ventilation. It was through-piped for vacuum and use between the diesel railcars to carry luggage in 1963 and last used for this purpose in 1965, after which G.19 was similarly treated and G.5 withdrawn; it survived until the mass scrapping of 1974 when it was taken to Ballasalla Station and disposed of. Of note, it was fitted with portholes in the sides with hinged doors.
