Drop-Side Wagons M.5 - M.7
The Ashbury Carriage Wagon & Iron Co., Ltd. supplied a further batch of three in 1884 with all three being scrapped, the first two in 1962 and M.7 succumbing as late as 1974 during the mass clear out which became known as the Ballasalla Bonfire. These three were identical in design to the initial batch of four from the same manufacturer some three years earlier.
