All 3rds Carriage F.12
One of an order of six from Brown, Marshall & Co., Ltd., of Birmingham from 1881 and surviving in traffic until the latter days, in service until the 1972 season after which is was withdrawn, having retained its wooden brake blocks is was not favoured and surplus to operational requirements following the closure of the Peel and Ramsey lines. Stored in the carriage shed at Douglas Station, it was removed from the railway after nationalisation to be used as an oil store at Derby Castle on the Manx Electric Railway where it was scrapped in 1982.
