Four-Wheel Carriage B.11
The Metropolitan Carriage & Wagon Co.,Ltd., of Saltley Works in Birmingham supplied this carriage for the 1873 opening of the Peel Line, from 1882 this carriage was close-coupled to B.15 and in 1910 the two were mounted on a new bogie underframe to become “pair” F.66; the frames became K.21 and carriage withdrawn in 1999 and currently in storage.
F.66 whilst still in regular traffic in 1963 in the post-war red and cream scheme.
