Four-Wheel Carriage C.2

Part of the first batch of four-wheel carriages to be delivered by the Metropolitan Carriage & Wagon Co., Ltd., of Saltley Works, Birmingham for the 1873 opening, this carriage was close coupled in 1883 with A.2 and later became “pair” F.52; the bodies were scrapped in 1968 and the underframes became bogie runner R.4.  The underframes were reused to become Fish Wagon No.5.
