Closed Van G.17

Constructed in 1916 in-house by the railway in Douglas Works on the frames of bolster L.5, this van was distinguishable by having a gap between the panels and solebar as seen below, presumably for ventilation purposes; it was scrapped as part of the Ballasalla Bonfire of 1974.
