Three-Plank Wagons H.21 - H.26
Six identical wagons delivered from the Ashbury Carriage & Wagon Co., Ltd., in 1877, the second batch following the originals which were supplied from the Metropolitan Carriage & Wagon Co., Ltd., of Saltley Works in Birmingham to a similar design.
These were notable for having coil as opposed to leaf springs to distinguish them from others of the series; the first to be lost was H.21 as early as 1948 with the final example being H.24 which survived until 1960 which it was struck from the rolling stock records.
