Three-Plank Wagons Hr.39 - Hr.45

These were inherited Manx Northern Railway stock having been supplied to that company in 1900 from Hurst-Nelson Co., Ltd., of Motherwell as a batch of seven, numbered No.13 then No.37-42 until the merger of 1905 when they were allocated there final numbers.  The first to be scrapped was Hr.41 in 1925 followed by a break of some years before it was followed by Hr.43 which was struck from the rolling stock records in 1946.  Hr.42 was stripped and scrapped in 1958, the following year seeing Hr.45 to a similar fate.  The last two to survive, until 1962, were Hr.39 and Hr.40.
