The Rail/Road Dumper
Capable of both rail and road travel and with its own trailer, this unit is used by the permanent way teams and was trialled in August 2022 following a service train as a follow-up fire train during a particularly dry spell when frequent lineside fires were an issue.

In July 2020 the dumper was in storage at Ballasalla Station on the goods siding, a rare occasion of this siding seeing use.
