Another Association project has reached fruition today with the erection of the replica running in board on the site of Peel Road Station, long delayed for a number of reasons including the various Covid-19 lockdowns.  The sign has taken its place on the site of the original with dark green lettering on a cream background.

This follows two previous similar signs erected at both Union Mills Station to mark the fiftieth anniversary of the Association and beside the water tank at Peel Station, both in 2016, these two appearing in the familar red and off-white scheme, but a change to green being decided upon at Peel Road based on historical photographs.  The site forms part of the Rail Trail cyclepath which covers most of the closed lines trackbeds.
