A further batch of twelve wagons, again from the Ashbury Carriage Wagon & Iron Co., Ltd. (the last of the kind from this supplier) and delivered in 1888, all survived although surplus to requirements latterly, M.9 was scrapped in 1961 and the remainder between 1973 and 1975.
