“Pairs” Carriage F.59

Paired in 1920 using a new underframe supplied by the Metropolitan Carriage & Wagon Co., Ltd., of Saltley Works in Birmingham reusing four-wheel carriages A.6 and C.4, this carriage became F.59 which was withdrawn in 1965 and the bodies removed and scrapped in 1968 at St. John's to create bogie runner R.10.  In this form it was sold to the Ffestiniog Railway in 1974, now forming their carriage No.119.
