“Pairs” Carriage F.55

Mounted on a new bogie underframe in 1912 supplied by the Metropolitan Carriage & Wagon Co., Ltd., of Saltley Works in Birmingham, F.55 comprised four-wheelers B.2 and C.6.  Latterly restricted to use on the schools trains and retaining the utility brown livery, the bodies were removed from the frames at St. John's and scrapped in 1968, the underframe becoming R.3 which was scrapped in 1975.
