Written and designed by Association Secretary and Manx Steam Railway News editor Grant Taylor as part of a set which ultimatel included all government-owned railways and tramways, the first edition of the Travellers' Companion official guide book was published for the 2010 season with an updated version appearing in 2014 as well as new versions for the recently-obtained Douglas Bay Horse Tramway.  The richly illustrated guide in A5 landscape format gives a summary history of the railway complete with archive photographs and fleet lists and remains available today from the gift shops at the manned stations and the railway museum.  The first edition was published by the Assocition with the second by our very good, in fact, extremely good friends down at Banks Circus who operate the railway.
