60th Anniversary Special : Wednesday 29th July 2026
A special evening train marking our Sixtieth Anniversary will depart Douglas Station at 7.00pm on the evening of Wednesday 29th July 2026 as part of the Manx Heritage Transport Festival and will take travellers to Port Erin Station where we are hosting our 59th Annual General Meeting in the railway museum.

You can also purchase up to eight tickets, being one full compartment on the train. Please contact The Secretary with any further requirements or questions.
Passengers are under no obligation to attend the business meeting and may spend their time enjoying the village prior to the return journey which will leave Port Erin Station at 9.30pm. This train is staffed entirely by volunteers of the Supporters’ Association all of whom are employed by the railway and have given their time free.

All Proceeds To The F.6 Fund
The Supporters’ Association are presently restoring vintage 1876 carriage F.6 (the oldest surviving bogie carriage) to full operational condition and all the proceeds of this train will go towards this major project, and update on which will also be given at the annual general meeting. Association Project Display At Port Erin
Representatives of the Supporters’ Association will be on hand and hosting a display the various items of rolling stock that they have been involved in restoring over the last few years. The display will include previous major projects including cosmetically restored No.5 Mona in spring green, No.6 Peveril in post-war red and No.9 Douglas in the original dark green livery. Also freight stock including van G.1, wagons H.1 and M.78 and much more. On display from 10.00am until 4.00pm.
