Bogie Runner R.5

Using the bogie underframes from F.58 (B.18 and C.3) which were removed at  St. John’s Station in 1968 and later scrapped on site; the underframes were later sold to the Ffestiniog Railway.

The removed bodies at St. John’s Station in July 1968 which were removed and scrapped to allow the creation of runner R.5.
