Ex-No.18 Runners
Low slung four wheel runners delivered with No.18 Ailsa and stored at various locations, commonly used to accommodate boilers, one, known as B.A.T.1 specifically for that purpose; four in total survive on the railway.

One of these runners spent some years at Castletown Station in the former goods yard where it is seen in April 2017.
Castletown Station in July 2018 and the runner outside the goods ashed where it was shortly afterwards used to store a boiler.
On the rear siding at Castletown Station in August 2019 when a cosmetic coat of black paint was applied to smarten its appearance.
