Jeffrey will be well known to many members as the long-term driver of No.4 Loch for many years, including some of its memorable trips on the electric railway during the Year Of Railways in 1993. The board were delighted to co-opt him as a director in February 2023.
In February there was a party to mark the retirement of long-time railway employee Jeffery Kelly at the Douglas Bay Yacht Club and he is seen here with employees past and present and wife Cathy and presented with a mounted Railway Company crest and framed certificate in honour of his 35 years loyal and faithful service, duly signed by Tourism Minister David Cretney M.H.K. and the Lieutenant Governor Sir Ian McFadden. We wish Jeffrey a long and happy retirement from everyone at the Association of which he is a long-standing member.
