The Season Begins : 19th March 2026
Thursday 19th March was the first day of the 2026 season on the railway and saw trains operating to the “R” timetable, with No.4 Loch taking the 9.50am ex-Douglas Station with No.13 Kissack on the 10.00am ex-Port Erin Station having travelled south light engine the previous day in preparation for service. M.N.Ry. No.4 Caledonia also banked the 1.50pm departure in order to be south for the additional trains operating on Friday 20th March
Carriages in use for the opening day were F.46, F.48, F.47, and F.15 on the north set and F.18, F.63, F.11, and F.49 based south.
