Cattle Vans K.1 (ii) - K.2 (ii)
Replacements for the original cattle vans and reusing their numbers, these two were constructed in-house by the Railway Company in 1921 and re-used the redundant underframes from four-wheel carriages C.11 and B.6 respectively; both were scrapped in 1961; also of note K.1 (ii) was placed onto the frames ex-C.14 in 1947 according to works records. Neither recieved a roof.

“K” vans in the goods yard Douglas Station awith the one on the far right being a roofless version.
In May 1938 K.22 was captured at St. Germain’s Station, note the bullock being transported to the mart.
September 1952 and van K.20 is in the goods yard at Ramsey Station on mart duty in the later pale grey livery.
