1980 - 1989
Beginning the decade with the newly introduced “The Unique...” tagline and using the combined electric railway modern logo, the leaflet remained largely unchanged the following year, with a new cover also including a single decker bus on the 1982 version to reflect the fact that certain connecting bus timetables were also included in the leaflet. The titling also changed from Railways to Transport at this time, 1984 being the final year that the Passenger Transport moniker would be utilised. Rail Rover promotions would also being to appear.
Towards the end of the decade the design was altered with 1988 being the final year that the amended crest (with a tramcar in place of the triskelion) first seen in 1979, was used, the accompanying images being those used for a definitive issue of postage stamps that year. 1988 would also be the first year that railway services operated daily, there being no services on Saturdays apart from the occasional specials prior to this season, a pattern which would continue into the following decade. Of note, Ronaldsway Halt recevies no mention throughout.
