Since its inception in 1966 the Supporters’ Association has had an active hands-on involvement in the railway, largely peripheral in more recent times; it continues to support the railway with a variety of smaller projects which can be viewed on these pages.

These include the renovation and upkeep of some of the unmanned wayside stations, provision of signage and upkeep of platform furniture, alongside more major works such as the provision of freight stock and cosmetic restorations.  Our previous projects can be viewed via the link below.

We maintain an active presence on the railway in a number of ways.  These pages provide overview of each of our projects, showing the ongoing work, and our most recent projects, some of which remain ongoing as seen here.
