Closed Van G.7
Constructed in-house in Douglas Workshops, this van was made using the damaged brake van E.1 (i) and was scrapped as part of the Ballasalla Bonfire in 1974. It was fitted with portholes and hinged coverings (omitted from the accompanying illustration) note the tare loadings painted on the solebars.

G.7 in August of 1935 in the goods yard at Port St. Mary Station in dark grey captured by James I.C. Boyd.
In October 1967 sister van G.1 was to be found outside the carriage shed at St.John's Station , of similar design to G.7.
In January of 2020 and work was ongoing on the restoration of sister G.1 by volunteers of the Association.
