Closed Van G.17
Constructed in 1916 in-house by the railway in Douglas Works on the frames of bolster L.5, this van was distinguishable by having a gap between the panels and solebar as seen below, presumably for ventilation purposes; it was scrapped as part of the Ballasalla Bonfire of 1974.

G.17 (left) in August of 1971 in the former goods yard at Douglas Station.
In October of 1967 G.17 was stored in the goods yard at Douglas Station.
By July of 1970 Douglas Station was still the home of G.17 prior to scrapping.
