Some images from around the workshops at the start of the 2025 season; while No.11 Maitland and No.13 Kissack maintained services there is work ongoing to saloon F.32 which will be outshopped in the purple lake livery the same as F.30, repairs to “pairs” carriages F.54 in the running shed, the continuing overhaul of No.4 Loch, cosmetic restoration of No.9 Douglas by volunteers of the Supporters’ Association, the completed repaint of the former bothy and the frames of No.12 Hutchinson in the workshops.
N.41 in the yard now repainted and carrying its painted fleet number once more.
The underframe of dismantled Empress Van F.27 used as a bench in the paint shop.
M.N.Ry. No.4 Caledonia stands in the running shed awaiting her next duty.
The frames of No.12 Hutchinson are in the rear of the workshops awaiting their turn.
Stored in the running shed with “pair” F.54 is shunting engine No.25 Sprout.
Work is well advanced on the full repaint of carriage F.48 in post-war red and cream.
The painting of saloon F.32 into the purple lake and off-white scheme is well advanced.
Progress on No.9 Douglas which now awaits the painter/sign writer’s attention.
“Pairs” carriage F.54 is in the running shed awaiting further workshop attention.
The overhaul of No.4 Loch is ongoing, the driving wheels removed and repainted.

After several decades of neglect the brasas dome cover of No.9 Douglas shunes again.
