Continuing works by our volunteers under the heading of our new Friends Of... group for Ballasalla Station, work includes maintenence of the floral displays, upkeep of the building, seasonal decorations, repairing the picket fencing, sale of souvenirs to assist in the upkeep with meet-and-greet facilities by our volunteers. Attention has also turned to the  gatehouse which has been out of use since the installation of automatic barriers in 2001. New platform furniture has been provided by the Association as well as traditional concrete planters.
