In preparation for the appearance of the unit during the anniversary celebrations at Castletown Station in August 2024 the stored Simplex unit No.25 Sprout was repainted by Association volunteers, retaining the holly green scheme previously carried, though with black frames and footplates, and buffers in overall red similar to the scheme applied to sister No.24 Betsy back in 2019. 

The unit was joined by the second Simplex for the event when No.5 Mona was also on display and restored six-wheeler M.N.Ry. No.6 was used for shuttle rides in the yard.  The event also saw the unvieling of a blue heritage plaque by the Friends Of Castletown Station in the presence of the Lieutenant Governor.
