Work is progressing composite carriage F.10 by off-site contractors; the carriage last operated in service at the beginning of last season and was removed from home metals upon the return of sister F.11 which is currently awaiting painting and completion in the paintshop at Douglas Station. Dating from 1881 and built by Brown, Marshalls & Co., Ltd., as part of a batch of four (F.9-F.12), the completed carriage will return in the post-war red and cream colour scheme. The recent images below illustrate the progress being made on F.10.
