Brake Van E.6

Part of a third batch of two from the Metropolitan Carriage & Wagon Co., Ltd., of Saltley Works in Birmingham, the body was removed from its underframe in 1911 and reused as grounded store at Peel Road Station, the frames were destroyed in 1915.  The van body survived until after closure on the site and retained its duckets until the end.  It was destroyed in 1975 at the same time as the station building on the site, today only the plinth remains.
