Announced towards the end of the main operating season in 2022, the railway operated each of the four weekends to a new "N" timetable which saw a one-train service operated exclusively by M.N.Ry. no.4 Caledonia with a rake of four carriages; the schedule followed the timings of the standard "R" timetable but without the south-based train so departures were 9.50am and 1.50pmn ex-Douglas and 12.00pm and 4.00pm ex-Port Erin.  The trains were well patronised.
