Four-Wheel Carriage B.22

Twenty-second of the series and supplied by the Metropolitan Carriage & Wagon Co.,Ltd., of Saltley Works in Birmingham for the 1873 opening of the Peel Line, from 1881 this carriage was close-coupled to C.7 and in 1910 the two were mounted on a new bogie underframe to become F.65; both of the carriage bodies were removed and scrapped in 1983 to allow the underframes to be converted, they became Ballast Hopper No.1 which has also subsequently been scrapped.
