Brake Composite F.7

One of two similar bogie carriages, the other being F.8, purchased in 1876 from the Ashbury Carriage & Wagon Co., Ltd., and lost in the St. John's shed fire on 10th December 1975.  The accompanying photograph of the carriage at Douglas Station appears to not have the familiar painted on solebars which were applied when the stock became red and cream in an effort to make them match up with the later stock on which the steel underframes were exposed.
