Bogie Runner R.4
Using the bogie underframes from F.52 which were removed at St. John’s in 1968 and later scrapped on site; the underframes were later sold to the Ffestiniog Railway.
April 1974 and R.4 was in use during the infamous "bonfire" at Ballasalla Station carrying a load of snow ploughs destined for scrapping.
