First Trains Of The Season : 10th  March ’23

Following two light engine test runs this morning, Friday 10th  March, the first trains of the 2023 departed Douglas Station at 1.50pm and Port Erin at 2.00pm with No.11 Maitland and No.4 Loch respectively in charge of two trains of three carriages each.  F.46 was on its first train following a complete repaint over the winter period on the 1.50pm train and the south train carried a commemorative sign honouring driver John Elkin who sadly passed away last month.  Services continue at the weekend.
