Four-Wheel Carriage B.19

From the Metropolitan Carriage & Wagon Co.,Ltd., of Saltley Works in Birmingham for the 1873 opening of the Peel Line, from 1881 this carriage was close-coupled to C.1 and in 1912 the two were mounted on a new bogie underframe to become F.64; the frames were then used to construct G.15 and underframe remains extant, carriage bodies having been scrapped in 1992, the other body, ex-C.1 resides at Peel Station as part of a heritage display.
