King Charles III Coronation Day  : 6th May

The railway operated to the “R” timetable on Saturday 6th May and all trains carried shields and flags and to mark the coronation of King Charles III; No.4 Loch and No.11 Maitland were both in traffic all day with good numbers travelling and several stations along the line suitably bedecked with decorations for the occasion, topped off with the evening Eurovision-themed “Station Legends” train to Castletown Station with its Carnaby Street plaque.  Tomorrow, Sunday 7th May will run to timetable “R” again with M.N.Ry. No.4 Caledonia on Sunday Lunch duty, not to be outdone was dubbed The Manxman.
