Four-Wheel Carriage C.11

Built by the Metrpolitan Carriage & Wagon Co., Ltd., of Saltley Works in Birmingham for the 1873 opening of the Peel Line, this carriage was, from 1882, close-coupled with A.11 to become F.74 in 1910.  Suriving in this form until the close of the 1987 season in traffic, the original timber frames were used to construct G.16; the paired carriage is presently stored at Jurby Airfield together with F.66 and F.67.
