Four-Wheel Carriage C.14

The final member of the series and delivered from the Metrpolitan Carriage & Wagon Co., Ltd., of Saltley Works in Birmingham for the 1873 opening of the Peel Line, this four-wheeler was close-coupled with B.2 from 1882 and in 1922 the two were mounted on a new bogie underframe from the same supplied to become F.67.  As the pairs carriage this survived in traffic until 1987 and is presently stored off-site away from the railway at Jurby Airfield.
